A prolonged scream of fuck you to 80s Hong Kong society. Absolutely exhausting and powerful.
Ringo Lam was brilliant and volatile director.
It's one of the most perfectly directed and angriest, grimiest, most ruthless movies ever. An utterly devastating experience.

When I became an adult I didn’t realize my life was gonna become Groundhog Day.

History repeats itself and patterns repeat themselves until we learn from them and apparently i’ve never learned anything before in my life because it’s groundhog day every day.

I found it very cringe worthy at first, but ended up great experience. The first act is conspicuously awkward, but the third act brilliantly explains why.
Damn unexpected and what a ride 😍

A Japanese gem. What a fun movie! Really original, funny and pretty sweet and an homage to the spirit of low budget film making. It’s a love letter to filmmaking.
it's a true one of a kind gem, but to explain why might give a bit too much of the game away.
    I Highly recommend πŸ‘

Can’t believe this movie came out 18 years ago. imagine coming out in 2004 and still being the best live action Spider Man movie to this day.

The story telling In the sequel is absolutely amazing. Sam Rami’s peak with his Spider-Man trilogy. This movie will always be iconic to me and Alfred Molina's portayal of Doc Oc was perfect.

A fun adventure with surprisingly great character development for Peter. It shows us how Peter’s double life finally catches up…
