abrar’s review published on Letterboxd:
this movie perfectly encapsulated what it means to be gay and living in a country where homosexuality is outlawed. i hate that we have to choose between our sexuality and our right to reside in our motherland. the love story between merab and irakli was as cliched as it could get, but it felt very real. overall a great movie w/ amazing cinematography and a very accurate depiction of the juxtaposition known as homosexuality.
