"I am Groot."
Easily the most entertaining and original of the MCU films thus far. But, the story is pretty generic stuff and some of it feels kind of rushed. But other than that, I don't have much to complain about. Mostly everything else works here, leading to a fun movie that successfully caps off the summer season.
Something that shocked me was that Drax absolutely steals the show here. Was not expecting that at all. Also, Rocket wasn't as annoying as I'd thought he'd be, which was also a surprise. Now, if the future MCU movies handle the comedic relief the way this one does and not the way Thor: The Dark World does, I'll be okay. Oh, and this movie has the best goddamn end credits scene ever. Like seriously.
