    This is one of those films that I wanted to see when it first came out, but never got around to it, and then it just kinda was there, waiting for me. Amazingly I somehow managed to avoid spoilers in the 10 years since it came out.

    What a great, dirty, grimy film. It's not exactly surprising that not much has changed anywhere for immigrants in the 10 years since this film came out, but that's hardly to be expected.

    It spends a lot of time just following the two main characters through their crappy days, both are trying to make a life, one as a legal(ish) immigrant, one who doesn't have documentation.
