indiana jones. i always knew some day you'd come walking back through my door.
this movie, this whole franchise, was such a big part of my whole childhood. saw it a billion times from the ages of 7 to 12, and haven’t really seen it since then. but it’s pure, undiluted cinema, one of the truest cinematic experiences there is. i’m gonna try and watch all 4, today. i anticipate this being the only one to get a full 5 stars, but we’ll see. love love love this movie. definitely has its faults, but for an 80s movie, the good surely outweighs the bad. not sure that i’ll be able to say the same about temple of doom. god, harrison ford is HOT in this role. i never would’ve named him as one of the guys i was in love with as a kid, but oh my GOD i was in love with him as indy. and i really love marion, always will. it’s bright and fun and dazzling and exciting. what’s not to love?
