    Tim Curry is [freaking] awesome.

This film is insane, and I loved almost everything about it.

It succeeds as a horror comedy!

It's fucking stupid and some things don't make any sense, but it's so funny and engrossing, and it has so much charm that pretty much makes up for its flaws. Also, the gore is awesome and the characters are really interesting, which isn't something very common in this type of films.
