“I’d rather face a thousand crazy savages than one woman who learned how to shoot.”

I knew it. I knew this was gonna be my favorite Altman, and I don’t think any other film will top it. Apparently I have some sort of affinity for films featuring strong themes about women. This film, alongside Persona and Mulholland Drive (as I’m sure is mentioned by many) is among the best films to brilliantly delve into the…

“The rough stone is inside you. You have to find it and then polish it. It takes time and effort.”

Lately I haven’t been writing proper reviews like I used to. Despite the fact that there are a lot of films that I’ve seen recently that shook me to my core and left me speechless; exactly where I need to be to spit a few meaningful words about the movie. I guess I’ve been lazy with the quick ones.…

I love how all Spider-Man villains are good people turned bad, I love that Evil Dead chainsaw homage shot, and I love Sam Raimi.

I really hate how much this could’ve been better had it been for a better screenplay, editing, and cgi (non of that prequel Star-Wars trilogy bullshit). There is so much potential here for a great film, yet it keeps on dragging out by the messy screenplay. I like how Thor was grounded at Earth but the connection between Earth and Asgard was far from perfect. I mentioned before in my Endgame review how I’d have liked for more time being…

    2019: Ranked (so far).

[Director's Cut] I watched the director's cut only and I am sure it's much better than the theatrical release. I wouldn't take out any of the scenes. Everything is there for a reason. So I highly recommend you watch it likewise.

    [Mild spoilers are included]
It's been about 22 hours since I finished watching it. I had to gather my thoughts, but most importantly, I had to gather myself. Ari Aster managed to make a film…

“I have so much strength in me. You have no idea. I have a love in my life. It makes me stronger than anything you can imagine.”

About 5 or 6 years ago I decided to watch Punch-Drunk Love. I didn’t know anything about Paul Thomas Anderson, neither did I about cinema if I’m being honest. So I start watching, and 5 minutes in I get bored and turn it off. I say to myself “what the hell is this?…
