Andy L’s review published on Letterboxd:
Great to see a British film with the ambition to create something original and arresting despite clearly limited resources. Director Claire Oakley trusts the audience enough not to overload us with backstory, creating a mysterious atmosphere without ever being overly enigmatic. I often didn’t know where the film was taking me, and though the story we ultimately get may be something we’ve seen before, the route there felt fresh and bold. The BBC deserves praise for giving new films like this a wider platform at this time and I hope it pays off in the long term.
