'One often meets his destiny on the road he takes to avoid it.'
Kung Fu Panda is a very lovely homage to the genre of martial-arts films. Its animation is beatiful, and there is a very deep message about finding your purpose in life. There are many likeable things about this movie, so is it the way, it deals with the relationship of a father, that wants his son to be like him, and his son, who is dreaming of a career in Kung-Fu fighting.
Nevertheless, it was the plot, that didn't catch me. I didn't like the story of Po, because it was simply way too predictable. For sure, everything was quite cute and really loveable, but it didn't work for me, somehow. Apart from the several, very well-choreographed, fighting scenes and the wonderful look of this flick, there were not too many things that I enjoyed. All in all, Kung Fu Panda is a solid animation movie, but it could have been way better.
