Absolute trash. Some of the worst and most irritating  overacting i’ve seen in my life coming from Lily James. Not surprised. Hated the hypsersexualised female characters seemingly for no reason; it’s very male gaze-y for something directed by a woman. And you would think the costumes would at least be good in a costume drama but these are so obviously cheap and dull; production design is just as bad. So much of this is stolen from Wes Anderson and Sofia Coppola but replicated so poorly. I can’t believe i wasted an hour of my life on this cringey rubbish.

For me this film is important at this particular moment in history because of one simple theme that runs through the film: THE NUANCE OF HUMANS AND HOW THEY RESPECT EACH OTHER REGARDLESS OF FUNDAMENTAL DIFFERENCES AND DISAGREEMENTS

“This person said something wrong so they are a bad person”
    “This person did…

After the movie i went to the toilet and on the inside of the toilet door someone had scrawled:

“no one gets to decide who deserves to live or die, so don’t be like thanos, go VEGAN”

and i was like wow some vegan sat through the whole of this film thinking about how they could relate a fantasy comic book film about universal genocide to their narcissistic vegan agenda
