EDIT: A lot of the critiques of representation in this are very valid which will likely make me rethink it when watching the show in more depth going forward. LMM and Quiara Alegría-Hudes making decisions for when Afro-Latine people should/shouldn’t be represented and by who is a bit weird! Could also be a stronger condemnation of gentrification but that’s just my 2 cents from being a New Yorker
