    A captivating plot, great performance by Gould and the interesting, although at times a bit tedious direction of Altmann make ‘The long Goodbye’ a special and worthwhile movie. 
    There are some peculiar funny (almost slapstick) scenes which shouldn’t really fit into the rest of the movie, but somehow they actually do. 

    I liked that one.

    On paper, ‘Hedwig’ didn’t sound very appealing to me, so I was pleasantly surprised how entertaining the movie actually was. I wasn’t really a fan of the movies style and aesthetics, but the soundtrack was very fitting.
    A worthwhile watch.

    Well, with this one you get, what the (not particularly elegant) title suggests: the depiction of family life with an alcoholic dad, shown from the view of the older daughter.
