I really didn't like this at all. Overly-sentimental, wooden dialogue, flat characters and, well, pretentious. It's a real slog to get through, but what can I say? First film of the festival and was lucky to get both Paolo Sorrentino and Toni Servillo to introduce the film and do a brief Q and A after. This was the premiere of the international version of the film, which was previously released in two separate parts entirely.
