The Grand Budapest Hotel

The Grand Budapest Hotel ★★★★

9.2/10

A story that's so bitter, resentful and harrowing is presented in a sweet, delightful and striking manner.
The film itself is a metaphor in many ways. We hardly find any of the issues happening in the film as emotionally moving since we are so awestruck by its colourful vista. Once you disrobe its many-hued attire you could see the pale sitches. That's what makes the film distinct, that's what makes Wes Anderson distinct.
